President Bola Tinubu has approved the Federal Capital Territory’s 2024 budget Statutory budget exceeding N1.1 trillion, according to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
President Bola Tinubu has approved the Federal Capital Territory’s statutory budget exceeding N1.1 trillion for the 2024 fiscal year.
VerseNews reports that this was disclosed by the FCT minister during a media chat in his Abuja office on Tuesday.
An analysis of the breakdown of the N1.1 trillion budget reveals that N280 billion is allocated for overhead expenses, N726 billion for capital projects, and N140 billion for personnel costs, making the total budget amount to N1.147 trillion.
The Minister promised judicious use of the budgetary allocation.
