Plateau National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal has sacked three members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), from the state Assembly.
VerseNews reports that the sacked lawmakers include:
- Happiness Akawu – a member representing Pengana Constituency
- Agbalak Adukuchill-Ibrahim – representing Rukuba/Irigwe Constituency and
- Rimvjat Nanbol -representing Langtang Central Constituency.
The tribunal, led by Muhammad Tukur, also returned the immediate-past speaker of the House, Yakubu Sanda of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
It ordered the return of Eli Bako Ankala of the APC and Daniel Ninbol Listic of the Labour Party, (LP).
