Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been under attack for congratulating President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu over victory on the presidential election.
VerseNews Nigeria reported that the former Lagos State governor was on Wednesday March 1 declared the next president of Nigeria by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after defeating his closest rivals, Alhaji Atiku Abibakar of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP).

Reacting to Tinubu’s victory, Zenlenskyy tweeted; “Congratulations to @officialBAT on winning the Nigerian presidential election. I look forward to close cooperation. I’m convinced that bilateral interaction will be strengthened. Is ready to worl together to overcome global challenges, including threats to food security.”
Following the congratulatory message, this Online News Media learnt that Nigerians expressed disappointment for standing on an election that does not reflect true democracy and the will of many citizens.
