Prospective applicants with the required Cut-off Mark are advised to complete their registration only via the official portal and adhere strictly to the outlined requirements and deadlines.
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME registration, scheduled to begin Monday, July 28, and end Wednesday, August 20.
According to a statement released by Mrs. Abosede Wickliffe, Registrar One and Secretary to Council, the screening is open to candidates who meet the following requirements and eligibility criteria:

Cut-off Mark:
- Only candidates who scored 200 and above in the 2025 UTME and selected UNILAG as their first choice are eligible to apply.
O’Level Requirements:
- Candidates must have five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- O’Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal on or before September 12, 2025, to be considered.

Age Requirement:
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
- Candidates who will not be 16 years of age by Sept. 30, are not eligible and need not apply.”
Test Participation:
- All applicants must take part in the online Post-UTME aptitude test.
- Candidates who do not participate in the post-UTME online aptitude test will not be considered for admission.

Mock Examination:
- A mock Post-UTME test will be held from Monday, August 25 to Wednesday, August 27, ahead of the main screening, which will run from September 1 to September 5.

Important Notes:
- Candidates must use personal and active email addresses for registration and communication.
- Former students of the university whose admission was withdrawn due to poor academic performance or absence may reapply, but only for a different course.
- Any student expelled from the university cannot be offered fresh admission.
- The university also warned: “UNILAG has zero tolerance for drug abuse and will withdraw admission of any student who tests positive, before or after registration.”
- Prospective students are advised to visit the university’s official website for the full guidelines and to complete their registration within the stipulated timeline.
