VIDEO: Fire Razes TCN Transmission Station Barely 24hrs After Kainji Explosion
Nafiu Abubakar, Kebbi police spokesperson, confirmed the development but couldn’t give the cause of the inferno.
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State has been gutted by fire.
VerseNews gathered that the inferno was said to have engulfed the 330 kilovolt (kV) facility around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday. September 14, 2023.
Nafiu Abubakar, Kebbi police spokesperson, confirmed the development but couldn’t give the cause of the inferno.
However, no official statement has been released by the transmission company regarding to the situation.
