‘Why Mmesoma’s Result Is Fake’ – JAMB Reveals Security Features To Determine Original Results
Mmesoma is either a victim of fraud or a member of a network that fabricates fake JAMB results.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed the security features of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result that determines its authentic.
VerserNews Nigeria reports that Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, stated on Tuesday that Anambra State candidate Mmesoma Ejikeme, manually inflating her UTME score.
Oloyede pointed out that the result displayed by Ejikeme served as a template for a student who took the UTME two years prior.
The former vice-chancellor of the University of Ilorin stated in an interview that “the candidate’s result would display if you scan the code. I can thus categorically state that the girl is flaunting a fake result. She is either a victim of fraud or a member of a network that fabricates fake JAMB results.
“There are security features on our results, so I can emphasize that the girl is only attempting to mislead the audience. Her outcome is wholly fabricated. Her assertion that she copied the outcome from our website is false and untrue.
“The result she is holding is completely fake because we are able to track everything printed from our system”, it said.

Mmesoma was accused of forging her 2021 UTME result by the board on Sunday evening.
She has since denied the allegations levied against her by the examination body, JAMB.
In the video, Mmesoma said: “I am the owner of this result. I went to JAMB portal to print this result and this is what they gave me. This is the result here. This is my aggregate, 362. This is exactly how I downloaded it from that site. So, they (JAMB) now saying I forged my result is what I don’t know; and I’m traumatised that they accused me of forging my own result.
“I am not capable of forging results. This is the evidence. The QR code on the result was scanned and it showed another name, a Yoruba name, Omotola Afolabi, 138. That same person that got 138, they checked again and the person scored 238; meaning that there is problem somewhere.”
