‘You’ll Never Get 10,000 Votes in South East’ — Cubana Chief Priest Fires Warning at Tinubu After Nnamdi Kanu’s Life Sentence

• Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest has issued a fiery public appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, insisting that the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu will cost the President massive support in the South East ahead of 2027.

Nigerian socialite and nightlife entrepreneur, Cubana Chief Priest, has publicly appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the imprisonment of Nnamdi Kanu.

Yesterday, 20th November 2025, Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was sentenced to life imprisonment for terrorism by the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Reacting to the development, Cubana Chief Priest issued a bold message to the President, warning that Tinubu risks losing political support in the South East ahead of the 2027 presidential election if Kanu remains behind bars.

According to him, the region would not deliver 10,000 votes to Tinubu in the next election if the case is not revisited.

He urged President Tinubu to appeal the judgment and ensure a fair resolution, suggesting that the administration must handle the situation correctly or be ready to “check out of the Villa” in 2027.
