- Afrobeat star Tiwa Savage has sparked massive reactions after revealing in a recent interview that bedroom sessions should last 15 to 20 minutes, saying 1–2 hours is “too much and no longer enjoyable.”
Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, has stirred conversations across social media following a bold revelation she made about her bedroom preferences during a recent interview.
In a viral clip, the 45-year-old music star stated that an ideal intimacy session between partners should last 15 to 20 minutes, adding that anything beyond 30 minutes is “too much and no longer enjoyable.”
Her comment comes shortly after she openly admitted she wouldn’t mind becoming a second wife, noting that she would respect the first wife since her career keeps her busy with tours and performances.

Speaking candidly during the interview, Tiwa Savage said:
“One hour to two hours is too much. It’s no longer enjoyable. 15 to 20 minutes is okay — the highest should be 30 minutes.”
She added that when things go on for too long, she sometimes gives her partner a subtle cue by asking, “Have you come?” — signaling that it’s time to wrap up.
The statement quickly generated mixed reactions online. While some netizens agreed with her stance, others argued that intimacy should not be timed.
One user, @BlaqDan, wrote:
“A good lovemaking knows no timing. You don’t just set the time for when y’all should be done. That’s immaturity talking.”

Another, @Clement Oluwole, opined:
“The truth is, as you get older, your perspective about a lot of things changes, and that’s fine. Nobody is going to be too strong forever.”

Also reacting, @Ike M. Obi analyzed the topic humorously:
“60 seconds in a full minute, that’s 60 thrusts multiplied by 15 mins — that’s 900 thrusts if my math is correct. After 10 mins, the woman probably gets dry and starts thinking of grocery lists. That’s why foreplay is important.”
Meanwhile, @Gary Rahman countered Tiwa’s view, saying:
“It’s all about energy and connection. If you’re really into each other, it’s a slow wind. It’s not about friction but about an orgasmic experience.”
The video continues to trend on Twitter and Instagram, sparking heated debates about timing, pleasure, and expectations in modern relationships.
