- The Federal High Court in Abuja will today deliver its judgment in the terrorism case against Nnamdi Kanu, with multiple TV stations already positioned for a rare live broadcast of the proceedings.
The Federal High Court in Abuja will, on Thursday, deliver judgment in the alleged terrorism trial of Nnamdi Kanu, and the session will be aired live across major television stations.
The court registrar confirmed the development to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday morning, as cameramen from NTA, Channels TV, AIT, TVC, and others set up their equipment inside the courtroom for the live transmission.

Justice James Omotosho had earlier fixed November 7 as the date for judgment after Kanu’s defence was foreclosed due to his refusal to open his defence under what he argued was a repealed law.
The judge noted that Kanu had been given six days to present his defence but chose not to utilise the opportunity. He stated that the court would have extended the time if Kanu had indicated readiness to proceed, adding that the defendant could not claim a denial of fair hearing after waiving his right to defence.
The ruling, which has drawn nationwide attention, will be delivered later today.
