- New PDP National Chairman Kabiru Tanimu Turaki has led top party officials to the Police Headquarters in Abuja to lodge a formal complaint against expelled members, including Nyesom Wike and Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
The newly elected National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, alongside several senior party leaders, has arrived at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Garki, Abuja, to file a formal petition against expelled party members, including FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and former National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
Their visit comes in response to an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) and Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting announced by the Muhammed Abdulrahman-led faction of the PDP, a faction reportedly backed by Wike.

The notice for the meeting, issued in Abuja on Monday by the expelled National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, stated that the session would hold on Tuesday at the NEC Hall of the party’s national secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
