The incident occurred after a tragic boat accident on the Anam River.
Abigail Frederick, the makeup artist who tragically lost her life alongside actor Jnr Pope and fellow crew members in a boat accident on the Anam River, has been laid to rest.
VerseNews gathered that the burial took place at the riverbank, as her father could not afford the costs required to transport her body back home to Akwa Ibom State for proper burial rites.
A Facebook user named Moses Ekor expressed concern and disappointment over the riverbank burial, calling the situation shameful. Ekor also expressed gratitude to those who donated funds to bring Abigail’s parents from Akwa Ibom to Asaba, allowing them to attend the burial.
