Chukwudi Ogbonna who is the Accord’s party candidate for the Ogba, Egbema, Ndoni Constituency 2 in Rivers State House of Assembly has been reportedly kidnapped in the state by unknown gunmen.
This was confirmed to this Online News Media on Tuesday March 14 by the candidate’s cousin, Ifeaka Nwake.
According to Nwake, Ogbonna was dragged out of his vehicle by gunmen on Monday night around the Rumuigbo area of Port Harcourt.

Also, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Area Command, Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed that Ogbonna was kidnapped.
She said the police has began investigation into the incident and assures quick response.
“The Commissioner of Police has ordered an investigation into the incident and the results will be made known in due course,” she said.
