- Actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of manipulation, abuse, and hypocrisy — claiming he encouraged her drug use because he preferred her “wild and romantic” while high.
Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly fired back at her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, accusing him of manipulation, abuse, and attempting to destroy her reputation.
The actress, in a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday morning, alleged that Nwoko — who had earlier accused her and her family of drug use — was the very person who encouraged her addiction.
“You say you want me to go for rehab, but you are the same Ned who always wanted me high because, in your words, I’m ‘sexier’ when I’m high. You liked me that way because it made me wild and romantic — exactly how you wanted me to be,” she wrote.
Regina further accused the Delta senator of forcing himself on her, locking her up, confiscating her phones, and labeling her “mentally unstable” whenever she tried to end the relationship.

“Why don’t you tell them how you force yourself on me whenever I say no? Or how you lock me up, seize my phones, and suddenly declare me mentally unstable the moment I say I no longer want to be with you?” she alleged.
The actress admitted to past drug use but claimed it was under Nwoko’s influence, adding that all his wives and ex-wives were also using drugs.

She emphasized that there was no legal marriage between them, revealing she would have filed for divorce long ago if one existed.
“We were never married in any court of law. Leave me alone, Ned. Marriage is not by force. Love is not by force. Stop trying to control what no longer belongs to you,” she added.
Regina also accused Nwoko of isolating her by targeting her friends and family, saying he wanted her “broken and alone” so she’d be forced to return to him.
“That has always been your strategy — break people down, make them weak and powerless, and then have your way with them. But it’s not going to work this time,” she declared.

The actress concluded by expressing shame over how their private issues became public, saying she’s grateful to have found strength despite her pain.
“I just feel ashamed that all this had to come out this way, but I thank God I found strength in the same house you tried to destroy me,” she said.
