Ned Nwoko Alleges Nollywood Actress Uche Montana Fueled Regina Daniels’ Drug Habit

• Senator Ned Nwoko has accused Nollywood actress Sonia Uche Montana and members of Regina Daniels’ family of allegedly enabling the actress’ drug use, claiming their actions frustrated her rehabilitation efforts.

The senator representing Delta North, Ned Nwoko, has made startling revelations about his marital troubles with actress Regina Daniels, alleging that some of her close associates — including Nollywood actress Sonia Uche Montana — played a key role in sustaining her alleged drug addiction.

In a detailed statement shared via his official X handle, Nwoko claimed that Daniels’ brother, Sammy, and a few friends, notably Sonia Uche Montana, frequently visited his residence without permission, bringing along substances the actress was being treated for.

“Unfortunately, Sammy, Destiny, some of their siblings, together with a few of their friends, notably Sonia Uche Montana among others, constantly defied the doctors’ instructions. They would come into the house uninvited, sometimes forcing their way in, and would bring her the same drugs she was being treated for,” Nwoko alleged.

According to him, the doctors handling Regina’s rehabilitation had directed that all access to her be restricted to aid her recovery. However, he claimed that her family and friends repeatedly disobeyed those medical instructions, allegedly worsening her condition.

The lawmaker further alleged that Regina’s brothers — Lawrence and Sammy — were the first to introduce her to drugs, stating that instead of helping her heal, they “kept drawing her back into the same destructive lifestyle.”

Nwoko also said his confrontation with Sammy reached a peak when the latter allegedly stormed his home at 4 a.m. to challenge him after asking Sammy’s girlfriend to leave his house.

“He came to my house shouting and demanding that I come downstairs to face him. Without the influence of drugs, could he have been so bold and disrespectful?” Nwoko recounted.

He added that the situation led to frequent clashes between Regina, her family, and security officers stationed at the residence, who were instructed to enforce the doctors’ restrictions.

Nwoko said his decision to involve law enforcement was to ensure order and aid Regina’s full recovery, emphasizing that those around her “needed professional rehabilitation themselves.”

As of press time, neither Sonia Uche Montana nor Regina Daniels had issued an official response to Nwoko’s fresh allegations.
