NECO Announces Date for Release of 2026 SSCE Results

• The National Examinations Council has announced that the results of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination Internal will be released on Thursday, September 24, at its headquarters in Minna, Niger State.

The National Examinations Council (NECO) will release the results of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination Internal on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

According to a circular issued by the examination body, the results will be officially announced at 11am at the NECO headquarters located along Kilometre 8, Bida Road, Minna, Niger State.

The announcement is expected to bring an end to the wait for thousands of candidates who participated in this year’s examination.

The Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, Professor Dantani Wushishi, on Tuesday presided over the 2026 SSCE Internal Award Committee meeting at the council’s headquarters.

The meeting formed part of the final preparations ahead of the official release of the examination results.

A post shared on the council’s official X handle also confirmed that the meeting marked the final stage of preparations for the release.

When Was the 2026 NECO SSCE Conducted?

The NECO Senior School Certificate Examination Internal is conducted annually for candidates in their final year of secondary school.

The 2026 edition of the examination was conducted from June 15 to July 23, 2026.

Candidates who participated in the examination are expected to be able to access their results after the official release by the examination council.

The result announcement will take place at the NECO headquarters in Minna, where officials are expected to provide details surrounding the release of the 2026 SSCE Internal results.
