Videos shared online show the blaze, with Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service officials working to extinguish it. Fortunately, church services had not yet begun.

The headquarters of Christ Embassy Church in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State, reportedly caught fire on Sunday morning.

VerseNews reports that multiple videos from the scene were shared on X.com. Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service officials are at the scene attempting to control the blaze.

Augustine, tweeting as Chief_Augustin1, shared a video and commented, “Christ Embassy Church on Billings Way, Oregun, is on fire. Serious fire is raging, and men of the Lagos State Fire Service are working hard to put it off. Thank God service hasn’t commenced fully.”
