Kingsley Moghalu, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and his wife, Maryanne have recounted how they escaped a faulty elevator accident.

VerseNews reports that in a video shared on the microblogging platform, X, formerly known as Twitter, Moghalu’s wife recounted that the elevator stopped in between floors.

“This morning, @MoghaluKingsley and I were stuck in an elevator for over 30 minutes! The elevator stopped in between floors. I thank God it ended well,” Mrs Moghalu shared.

“This is why you don’t leave home without praying. Ps 91. Never know what is waiting around the corner. Glory to God!”

Although, she did not state the location where they incident occurred but admitted it is wise for one to pray before leaving the house.

This comes barely two weeks after a doctor in Lagos State lost her life in an elevator.
