EFCC parades Bobrisky for alleged Naira mutilation at a movie premiere, leading to an investigation into his conduct at multiple events.

Bobrisky voluntarily attends questioning and awaits potential charges pending the investigation’s outcome.

Operatives from the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have initiated an investigation into the activities of Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, following allegations of unlawfully spraying Naira notes.

VerseNews reports that the inquiry was prompted after a video surfaced depicting the 31-year-old spraying and displaying bundles of fresh Naira notes during the premiere of a movie titled “Ajakaju,” produced by Nollywood actress and producer Eniola Ajao.

The event took place at the Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.

EFCC parades Bobrisky

Further investigations disclosed that Bobrisky allegedly engaged in similar conduct at various other event venues and parties on different occasions.

In response to the EFCC’s summons, Bobrisky presented himself at the Lagos Zonal Command headquarters of the EFCC on the morning of Wednesday, April 4, 2024, for questioning, where he voluntarily provided his statement.

Upon the completion of the investigation, he is expected to face charges in court.
