The Nigeria Police has charged 13 persons for public disturbance and related offences following a Monday protest in Abuja calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Those named in two separate First Information Reports (FIR) include:

According to police documents, the accused were arrested on October 20, 2025, across various Abuja locations while chanting war songs, blocking roads, and demanding Kanu’s release — actions authorities said endangered national security.
