Global sportswear powerhouse Nike has officially unveiled the latest home and away kits for Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles.
The announcement was made on the team’s X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, drawing attention from fans still reacting to the country’s failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The new home jersey features a vibrant light green base, enhanced by darker green panels and a subtle dotted fade pattern. The design is completed with the Nigeria Football Federation crest and the iconic Nike swoosh, maintaining the brand’s tradition of blending football culture with streetwear appeal. According to Nike, the kit is designed to “make a statement far beyond the field.”

Meanwhile, the away kit presents a clean white base highlighted by bold green flame-like patterns stretching across the front, back, and sleeves. It is finished with a dark green shallow V-neck collar and black-trimmed cuffs, offering a modern and dynamic look.
Nike also noted that both kits are made with performance-driven Dri-FIT technology and incorporate sustainable materials. The jerseys are priced at £109.99 for adults, while the children’s versions retail at £84.99.

The launch comes at a time when Super Eagles are preparing for a four-team friendly tournament with Jordan, Iran and Costa Rica.
Despite a talented squad featuring stars like Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, the Super Eagles missed out on the expanded 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada after a dramatic penalty shootout defeat to DR Congo in the CAF playoff final.
Nigeria finished as runners-up in their qualifying group but could not secure one of the African berths.
