In a bid to safeguard its reputation and protect its customers, Air Peace, one of Nigeria’s leading airlines, has taken decisive action to distance itself from a fraudulent fake UK website.

VerseNews reports that this is coming the airline’s successful inaugural flight from Lagos to London on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

The airline in a statement signed by the management and titled: “DISCLAIMER: FAKE AIR PEACE UK WEBSITE” emphasized Air Peace’s unwavering dedication to transparency and integrity in all its operations.

The statement reiterated the importance of customers relying solely on authorized channels, such as the official Air Peace website and recognized booking platforms, to avoid falling victim to scams.

The airline, renowned for its commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, moved swiftly upon discovering the unauthorized use of its brand on the deceptive platform.

The fraudulent website, which masqueraded as an official Air Peace platform, aimed to deceive unsuspecting individuals seeking flight bookings and other services.

However, upon realizing the potential harm posed by the counterfeit site, Air Peace promptly issued a public statement denouncing any affiliation with it.

Furthermore, Air Peace reassured its valued customers of stringent security measures in place to protect their personal information and financial transactions. The airline urged individuals to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or unauthorized use of its brand promptly.

The statement reads “Our attention has been drawn to a particular website www.flyairpeace.uk purporting to be an official Air Peace website and defrauding unsuspecting individuals.

“The creators used some of our brand collateral to design the fake website and presented it as our booking platform.

“We would like to dissociate the Air Peace brand from this fraudulent site because it is not owned by us. The one and only official website of Air Peace remains www.flyairpeace.com.

Members of the public should totally ignore the site as it it impersonating Air Peace and fleecing travelers.”

This proactive stance taken by Air Peace underscores its commitment to maintaining the trust and confidence of its passengers.
