MultiChoice has introduced new DStv and GOtv packages in Nigeria, changing subscription names, prices and channel offerings from November 5, 2026.

The revised structure gives customers four main options on each platform. Subscribers should check their preferred channels and the package displayed on their account before renewing.

What are the new DStv prices?

DStv’s official Nigerian price guide lists the following monthly subscriptions:

DStv says Sports includes every Premier League and UEFA Champions League match. Premium provides its broadest offering, including premium sporting coverage such as Formula 1, tennis and golf.

Starter offers selected football coverage rather than every match. Select focuses on a wider entertainment offering, including movies and children’s programming.

What are the new GOtv prices?

GOtv’s Nigerian website lists these monthly options:

Easy is the lowest-priced option in the new lineup. Starter adds more entertainment and selected live sport, while Select expands the mix of films, children’s programmes and football content.

GOtv promotes Sports as its football-focused package, including every Premier League match.

What should subscribers check before paying?

First, confirm the exact channels you watch. Packages with similar names or prices on DStv and GOtv do not necessarily contain identical content.

Football viewers should distinguish between selected matches and full competition coverage. A package advertising football does not automatically include every fixture.

Next, check your account’s current package, renewal amount and expiry date. If the displayed package differs from what you expected, clarify it through the provider’s official support channel before paying.
