Each player received the naira equivalent of $100,000 and a three-bedroom apartment, while the technical crew got $50,000 each.
President Bola Tinubu has conferred the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) on the Super Falcons, following their stunning 3-2 victory over hosts Morocco in the WAFCON final.
Each of the 24 players will receive the naira equivalent of $100,000, a three-bedroom apartment, while the 11-member technical team will receive $50,000 each and identical housing rewards.

At a special reception held at the State House, Tinubu praised the team’s dedication and resilience:

“Thank you for the dedication, passion, and for reminding us of the strength of the Nigerian spirit,” he said, adding, “Nigeria’s spirit is unyielding and will never die.”
The Super Falcons’ arrival was met with jubilation, as they presented the trophy to the President and First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.


Nigeria’s victory marks another chapter in the Falcons’ dominance in African women’s football, securing their 10th WAFCON title out of 12 editions.
