  • The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced that comedian Mr Jollof and social media critic VeryDarkMan may face prosecution and possible jail terms following their altercation onboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight in Asaba.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has revealed that comedian Mr Jollof and social media personality VeryDarkMan risk jail terms following their recent fight onboard United Nigeria Airlines flight at Asaba International Airport, Delta State.

Speaking on the issue, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at NCAA, Michael Achimugu, shared that he has advised the body’s legal services to write to the Attorney General of the Federation to prosecute Mr Jollof and VeryDarkMan.

“The airline is sending a report to the NCAA today. When that report comes, the necessary department will make the decisions that need to be made.

“I have spoken with the Director of Legal Services at the NCAA, and I have advised that they write to the Attorney General of the Federation and the Inspector General of Police to prosecute the passengers.

“We will furnish them with the details of the case to aid their prosecution. We will advise the Airline Operators of Nigeria, AON, to blacklist those passengers to serve as a deterrent.

“If the case is prosecuted, they could get jail terms, and they will also be fined. The laws are clear,” Achimugu said.
