Popular Nigerian singer Zinoleesky has raised eyebrows after sharing a cryptic and disturbing message on his Instagram Stories, two years after the passing of former Marlian Music signee, Mohbad.

In the post, Zinoleesky—who is a father of two—strongly hinted at leaving Marlian Music, owned by Naira Marley. His unexpected message has triggered widespread reactions, especially considering the tensions and controversies that surrounded Mohbad’s career and eventual death.

Mohbad had previously accused members of Marlian Music of mistreatment and claimed his life was in danger. Before he passed, he also labelled Zinoleesky a “snitch” in a viral video. Throughout that period, Zinoleesky never publicly spoke in Mohbad’s defence — a silence many Nigerians have not forgotten.

Now, two years later, Zinoleesky appears to be signaling that all is not well within the record label. His message suggested that he, too, has faced powerlessness and unfair treatment.

According to his Instagram post, he wrote:
“I am standing up not just for myself but for every artiste who has ever felt powerless or taken advantage of. We deserve better. We deserve transparency, fairness, and respect.”
