Annie Idibia Breaks Silence on Rumoured Reunion With 2Baba

• Annie Idibia has dismissed rumours of a reunion with ex-husband 2Baba, saying the viral videos fuelling the speculation are old and being wrongly presented as recent.

Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed rumours claiming she has reunited with her estranged husband, music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.

The speculation began after an old video showing the former couple sharing a warm moment at a nightclub resurfaced on social media, leading many fans to believe they had rekindled their relationship.

Responding to the reports on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Annie made it clear that the circulating footage was outdated and had been taken out of context.

“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.

Her statement effectively put an end to the rumours, confirming that there has been no reconciliation between the former couple.

Annie and 2Baba, who share two daughters, announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after more than a decade together.

Since then, the singer has moved on and is now married to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
