- The viral wedding videos have sparked reactions online, especially because the influencer built his reputation by repeatedly criticizing women and discouraging marriage.

Nigerian influencer and social media personality Emmanuel Obruste, popularly known as GehGeh, has sparked widespread reactions after secretly tying the knot with his lover.
Videos from the private wedding ceremony surfaced online on Saturday, July 25, 2026, catching many Nigerians by surprise and quickly going viral across social media platforms.
The wedding has generated significant attention because GehGeh built much of his online popularity by openly criticizing women, relationships, and marriage in his viral videos.
Over the years, he amassed millions of followers through his controversial content, including his popular “GehGeh University of Wisdom and Understanding,” where he frequently advised men against marriage and questioned modern relationships.
More recently, GehGeh publicly opposed the planned marriage of popular content creators Jarvis and Peller, arguing that they were too young to get married and claiming that Jarvis was not genuinely in love with Peller.
In another recent interview on The Link Up Podcast by Echoo Room, the influencer also made headlines after claiming he had four baby mamas and alleging that two other women were pregnant for him.
Despite his long-standing criticism of marriage, newly surfaced wedding videos show a completely different side of GehGeh as he celebrated his union with his bride in what was reported to be a ceremony held in Niger State.
