Air Peace has announced disruptions to some of its flight operations following the failure of a baggage screening machine at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Domestic Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

The airline said the technical fault has slowed baggage screening and loading processes, leading to delays in scheduled departures from the nation’s capital.

According to Air Peace, the disruption has also affected subsequent flight rotations across its network, with some aircraft unable to depart on schedule until the issue is resolved.

The airline said it is working closely with the relevant airport authorities to restore normal operations as quickly as possible while ensuring passengers and their luggage continue to undergo the required safety screening.

“Air Peace is making every effort to minimise the impact of the disruption and ensure a seamless return to normal flight schedules,” the airline said.

Air Peace apologised to passengers affected by the delays and appealed for patience and understanding as efforts continue to resolve the situation.
