The 2023 edition of the BET Awards was held on Sunday night at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, U.S.A.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that this year’s edition celebrated 50 years of Hip Hop with memorable performances from rap legends including KRS1, Big Daddy, and Fat Joe.

Nigerian megastar Davido performed at the show where he thrilled the audience with his new smash hit single ‘Unavailable’ thereby being the second year in a role an Afrobeats artist would be performing at the main event following Fireboy’s performance last year.

Burna Boy who was represented by his mother, Bose Ogulu won the Best International Act while Tems won the award for Best Collaboration for the second year in a role for her contributions to Future’s ‘Wait For U’.
