Elder statesman and New Nigeria’s Party (NNPP) chieftain, Buba Galadima has said that it will be impossible to remove the newly sworn-in President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the Election Petition Tribunal.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that according to Galadima, the presidential election tribunal cannot change the outcome of the 2023 presidential election, despite its lack of fairness.

He mentioned that throughout Nigeria’s history since 1979, the courts have never altered the results of a presidential election.

Galadima expressed little confidence in the credibility of the judiciary based on recent events. Instead of spending billions of naira on a futile tribunal, he suggested using the funds to prepare for the 2027 elections.

Galadima also stated that the NNPP faced challenges due to late party registration and issues with Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the previous election.

This Online News Media understands that the 2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently challenging the outcome of the presidential election.

Peter Obi has brought before the tribunal many evidence to prove that the election lacks credibility, fairness and violates the Electoral Act 2022.
