Atiku, Obi, Two Other Files Petition Seeking To Nullify Tinubu’s Victory As president-Elect
Following the outcome of the Presidential election on February 25 that led to the declaration of Asiwaju Bola tinubu as the President-Elect four presidential candidate has separately filed law suits to challenge the outcome of the election at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja
VerseNews Nigeria reports that the petitions seeks the nullification of the declaration of Tinubu as the President-Elect on the ground that he was not duly elected by majority of the lawful votes cast at the time of the election.
The petitioners are Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP); Solomon Okangbuan of Action Alliance (AA) and Allied People’s Movement’s (APM) Chichi Ojei.
The petition by Obi and LP, marked CA/PEPC/03/2023, had INEC, Tinubu, his running mate, Shettima Kashim, and the APC as respondents.

This Online News Media reports that Atiku and his party; PDP petition was confirmed to Channels TV on Tuesday March 21, 2023 by a member of their legal team, Silas Onu.
The petition was marked marked CA/PEPC/05/2023, with INEC, Tinubu and APC listed as respondents.
Solomon Okangbuan and AA, and Allied People’s Movement (APM)and its presidential candidate, Princess Chichi Ojei suits marked CA/PEPC/03/2023 and CA/PEPC/04/2023 respectively
The AA argued that its candidate was excluded, based on which the election should be voided.
The petitions by the four candidates essentially want Tinubu’s victory nullified.
