According to reports by VerseNews, Bobrisky was apprehended in Lagos following allegations of mishandling naira notes. The self-proclaimed transgender personality was accused of indulging in activities that led to the defacement and improper usage of the national currency.

It was purported that Bobrisky, during an event, engaged in the act of “spraying” money, causing damage to the currency notes.
