Carter Efe has left social media buzzing after sharing a dramatic spiritual account he says happened before his boxing victory over singer Portable.

Speaking during a livestream conversation with businessman E-Money, Carter Efe revisited the events leading up to their celebrity boxing clash at the “Chaos in the Ring 4” event held in Lagos.

Recall that Carter Efe shocked many fans after defeating Portable via unanimous decision at Balmoral Hall, with all three judges scoring the bout in his favour and ending Portable’s unbeaten run in celebrity boxing.

But it was his pre-fight story that stole attention online.

According to Carter Efe, he took one of his boxing gloves to Olumo Rock before the fight, where a clergyman allegedly prayed over it and poured olive oil into it. He further claimed that something unusual happened immediately after.

“Smoke came out of the glove after the oil was poured,” he said, insisting he was then assured of victory.

As he narrated the story confidently during the livestream, those around him were seen reacting with disbelief and laughter. E-Money, in particular, could not hold back as he burst into laughter and turned to others present to confirm the claim.

The clip quickly went viral, triggering a wave of mixed reactions across social media, with many users questioning the story while others treated it as typical entertainment banter from the streamer.
