A video online shows Cubana Chief Priest walks proudly after reaching an agreement with the EFCC to resolve a case of alleged naira abuse outside of court.

The socialite was granted bail in April and faced charges related to naira abuse at a social event, but an out-of-court settlement was reached on May 2nd, 2024, as proceedings resumed.

Cubana Chief Priest, a popular figure in the nightlife scene, was captured on video leaving court proudly after reaching an agreement with the EFCC to resolve a case involving alleged naira abuse.

VerseNews gathered that the EFCC and Cubana Chief Priest agreed to settle the case outside of court, with details of the out-of-court agreement disclosed during the resumed proceedings on May 2nd, 2024.

Earlier, on April 17th, the Federal High Court in Lagos granted Cubana Chief Priest bail after he was arraigned on charges related to the abuse of the naira at a social event held at Eko Hotel on February 13, 2024.

The socialite was accused of contravening provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

After sharing a video of his confident exit from court, Cubana Chief Priest expressed his feelings about the resolution.

“Court day !!! Problem No Good Oh, @officialefcc 🦅 No Dey Joke Oh !!!! Better Stay Away From Their Wahala, I’m SUre You Will Not Love To Pass Through This Kinda Stress I’m Passing Through.”
