A fresh update on Mohbad’s autopsy has been disclosed.

According to Dr. Richard Somiari, Mohbad’s autopsy result will ready in the next three to four weeks.

The Director of Lagos State DNA and Forensic Centre, Dr. Richard Somiari, has disclosed that the autopsy conducted on the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, will be ready in the next three to four weeks.

Mohbad, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, sparked controversies nationwide, leading the Lagos State Government to initiate a coroner’s inquest into his death.

During the inquest, Dr. Somiari revealed that they explored various possibilities, including the involvement of poison, as no definitive cause of death had been established.

Assuring the public of the security and authenticity of the autopsy process, Dr. Somiari stated,

“We have a place where items are stored for safety and security of results. There is a procedure for monitoring samples moved abroad.”
