Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Dr Matthew Kukah, on Thursday visited the leader of the Proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, at the Sokoto correctional center.

Prince Emmanuel Kanu, Nnamdi Kanu’s younger brother, shared details of the meeting in a post on his official Facebook page.

He described the interaction as filled with “laughter and extreme joy” and noted that the bishop offered prayers for the IPOB leader.
