Peter Okoye, one-half of the iconic music duo P-Square, has taken to social media to express his concerns about the current state of Nigeria’s economy.

VerseNews reports that in an Instagram story, he highlighted the significant impact of rising costs on everyday life, particularly in the context of soaring diesel prices.

Okoye revealed that his monthly expenditure on diesel now stands at a staggering 3 million Naira.

This figure, he pointed out, is nearly 20 times the amount he spent on purchasing his first car many years ago, which cost him 120,000 Naira.

The stark contrast between these two expenses serves as a stark reminder of the economic challenges faced by many Nigerians.

This disclosure reveals the severity of Nigeria’s economic issues, with increasing costs affecting not only individuals but also businesses and industries. Okoye’s message resonated with many who have also felt the impact of economic fluctuations.
