VerseNews Nigeria reports that nine-time African Champions arrived Mexico, the host country on Monday.
The one week tournament will be played in the city of Leon, State of Guanajuato featuring only four teams – Mexico, Nigeria, Costa Rica and Colombia.
According to reports made available to VerseNews Nigeria, the objective of the tournament is to prepare the contestants for the 9th FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in Australia and New Zealand this summer.
The Super Falcon will face the host country Mexico in their first leg on Wednesday February 15 4pm, Mexico time (10Pm Nigeria time).
