According to Verydarkman’s lawyer, Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and music producer Samklef orchestrated legal action against him.

In the unfolding saga of activist Verydarkman’s arrest, his legal representative has come forward with startling allegations against prominent Nollywood figures.

VerseNews gathered that according to Verydarkman’s lawyer, Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and music producer Samklef orchestrated legal action against Verydarkman, leading to his recent arrest by the police.

The catalyst for this legal pursuit was purportedly a petition filed by actress Tonto Dikeh, citing cyberbullying and threats to her safety allegedly orchestrated by Verydarkman.

Prior to his arrest, Verydarkman had made serious accusations against Tonto Dikeh, implicating her in the creation of the controversial GistLover blog, which reportedly led to numerous death threats targeting her.

Despite expectations of his release, the stringent bail conditions imposed on Verydarkman have posed significant hurdles.

These conditions include property ownership and a business in Abuja, involvement of government officials, surrendering his passport, and a substantial financial bond.

In a recent video statement, Verydarkman’s lawyer disclosed their compliance with certain bail requirements but expressed frustration over delays in securing his release, citing unavailability of the overseeing authority.

The lawyer reiterated their confidence in the legal system’s professionalism but warned of pursuing legal avenues if bail continues to be denied.

He stressed adherence to due process and affirmed the right to peaceful protest, both online and offline.
