President Tinubu vowed that the killers of the ekiti monarchs will not escape justice.
President Bola Tinubu has condemned the killing of two traditional rulers in Ekiti State, expressing condolences to their families and pledging justice for the perpetrators.

The driver of the car, who is the Alara, was lucky to have escaped unhurt from the scene as he ran into the bush and later went back to the town to report the incident.
Sources, according to Oodua News, disclosed that another monarch, Alara of Ara in Ikole LG, however, narrowly escaped when the armed men accosted them and attempted to forcefully take them away.
“They were travelling together. The armed herdsmen stopped them and rained bullets on them. They took their personal belongings and dragged their bodies into the bush,” Oodua News quoted a source as saying.
VerseNews reports that Tinubu in a statement on Tuesday issued by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale has vowed that the killers of the traditional rulers will not escape justice.
Tinubu also ordered the immediate rescue of kidnapped pupils and teachers in Ekiti, where at least six pupils, three teachers, and a bus driver were abducted.
