The price of cement in Nigeria for the Dangote, BUA, Lafarge and other cement manufacturers has now continued to keep going despite the government’s effort to reduce the price.

VerseNews gathered that as of today, 1st April, 2024, the cement prices for the cement manufacturers has continued to look the same without any reduction after the Federal Government intervention in the industry.

In recent days, FG together with the largest cement manufacturers like Dangote Cement, BUA Cement, and Lafarge Cement have held a meeting to slash the price of the cement to N9,500 and N11,500. Despite the government’s efforts, some retailers are still offering it at a high price.
