Sammy, the brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has vowed to defend women everywhere after a viral video showed him and other relatives confronting men outside the home of Senator Ned Nwoko, following what the family describes as a violent incident involving the actress.

In footage circulating widely on social media, Regina is seen distressed while her brothers and aides push back against men the family says were sent to intimidate or attack her.

Sammy — who identified himself in posts accompanying the video — told reporters and online followers that the episode has been painful for the family and accused the senator of physically assaulting his sister before allegedly sending thugs to the scene.

“Makachi! E pain say una won finally laugh my sister,” Sammy said in an emotional message shared online. “Anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood.” He added that, according to the family’s account, Senator Nwoko “beat my sister and hit her head on the wall then ran away and sent thugs,” and warned that he would answer anyone who harms women.

The video, first shared by movie producer Stanley Ontop and re-posted across platforms, shows a chaotic scene outside a residence where men — identified by the family as attackers — are confronted by Regina’s relatives.
