VerseNews reports that shortly after voting, Ukachukwu alleged widespread vote buying across the state, describing it as a “menace” that could cripple the country’s electoral process if left unchecked.
He claimed that some party agents had been attacked in areas such as Utuh in Nnewi South and called on security agencies to enforce the law and prevent electoral fraud.
Despite the allegations, Ukachukwu expressed confidence that his party would emerge victorious, emphasising that voting was a civic duty and proof of his qualification to both vote and be voted for.

He also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the timely arrival of election materials and officials, which he said helped streamline the process.
VerseNews reports that vote counting has begun in Anambra as 16 candidates vie to unseat APGA’s Chukwuma Soludo.
