Popular Nigerian TikToker Jarvis has taken to social media to react after her former partner, Hamzat Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, was involved in a serious car crash that has since gone viral online.

The incident followed reports that the 20-year-old content creator had been emotionally distressed after receiving a breakup message from Jarvis, his 23-year-old partner, during a WhatsApp conversation that later surfaced online. The crash, which occurred shortly after, sparked widespread concern among fans and fellow content creators.

Peller was reportedly rescued by passersby at the scene and rushed to a hospital, where he is said to be receiving medical attention. No official statement has been released confirming the extent of his injuries as of press time.

Reacting to the incident, Jarvis shared an emotional video on social media in which she did not deny sending a breakup message. She explained that she had made efforts to cope with the relationship but felt overwhelmed despite trying her best.

Her response triggered a flood of reactions online, with social media users sharply divided. While many expressed concern for Peller’s wellbeing and called for empathy and professional support, others questioned the nature of the couple’s relationship and accused both parties of turning personal issues into online content.

Some commenters urged calm and responsibility, stressing the importance of handling emotional distress privately and seeking help offline rather than allowing situations to escalate publicly.

As discussions continue to trend across platforms, many Nigerians are calling for greater awareness around emotional health, accountability on social media, and the need for influencers to recognise the impact their actions can have on themselves and their audiences.
