- Frank Edoho’s alleged lover, Adekoya Ibukunoluwa has filed a N100 million lawsuit against Sandra Edoho, accusing her of defamation, privacy breach and false allegations.

An entrepreneur, Adekoya Ibukunoluwa, has instituted a N100 million lawsuit against Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of popular broadcaster Frank Edoho, over alleged defamatory Instagram posts accusing her of having an extramarital affair with the television personality.
In a memorandum of claim dated July 17, 2026, Adekoya accused Sandra of libel, fraudulent misrepresentation and breach of privacy, alleging that a series of social media posts severely damaged her reputation and exposed her to public ridicule.
The suit, signed by her lawyer and Managing Partner of FOLEGAL, Festus Ogun, was filed after Sandra allegedly published Adekoya’s photograph, private WhatsApp conversations and a video on her Instagram page, @vivibella_designs, during an ongoing marital dispute with Frank Edoho.
How they allegedly met
According to the court documents, the events leading to the dispute began in October 2023, when Adekoya reportedly met Frank Edoho by chance at Hard Rock Café in Lekki, Lagos.
The two allegedly struck up a conversation over their mutual support for English Premier League club Arsenal before exchanging contact details.
Alleged impersonation and invitation
The entrepreneur further alleged that on November 19, 2023, Sandra impersonated her husband on WhatsApp and invited her to the Edoho family’s residence in Victoria Garden City (VGC), Lagos.
According to the lawsuit, the invitation came with a promise of N10 million, with Adekoya allegedly told she only needed to “honour the invitation.”
The claim further alleged that Sandra later posed as Frank Edoho’s brother, personally picked Adekoya up and drove her to the residence.
Upon arrival, Adekoya claimed she was locked inside a room.
The lawsuit stated that Frank Edoho, who was allegedly asleep at the time, was later awakened and expressed shock over the incident, insisting he had no knowledge of the arrangement.
According to the court documents, the broadcaster subsequently apologised to Adekoya.
Alleged defamatory Instagram posts
The entrepreneur claimed that after Sandra’s marriage reportedly collapsed in May 2026, she launched what the lawsuit described as a “calculated campaign” to tarnish Adekoya’s image.
The suit alleged that Sandra uploaded her photograph, private WhatsApp chats and videos on Instagram while portraying her as one of several women allegedly involved in romantic relationships with Frank Edoho.
One of the posts cited in the lawsuit allegedly described Adekoya as:
“Or is it the smelling prostitute whom you led into our home? Where I had a video record you escorting her to the gate.”
Adekoya’s legal team argued that the publications were “blatantly false, mischievous and misleading,” alleging they portrayed their client as “a prostitute, sex worker and a person of questionable character.”
According to the claim, the posts quickly went viral, were republished by blogs and other online platforms, and exposed the entrepreneur to cyberbullying, insults, harassment and widespread public embarrassment.
N100 million lawsuit
As part of the reliefs sought, Adekoya is asking the court to declare the Instagram publications defamatory, false and malicious.
She is also seeking:
- N100 million in damages;
- A court order compelling Sandra Edoho to retract the publications and issue an unreserved public apology;
- A perpetual injunction restraining her from making similar publications in the future; and
- Payment of the cost of the legal proceedings.
Settlement offer
The memorandum also proposed an out-of-court settlement.
Under the proposed terms, Sandra would be required to:
- Delete all the disputed Instagram posts;
- Publish a public apology acknowledging the alleged impersonation of Frank Edoho; and
- Pay N20 million in damages to Adekoya.
According to the legal team, Sandra has been given seven days to respond to the allegations in line with Practice Direction No. 2 of the 2019 Lagos State High Court Civil Procedure Rules.
The lawyers warned that failure to respond within the stipulated period would result in further legal action.
