The Federal Government’s National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention has listed five payment platforms through which selected beneficiaries can receive its ₦50,000 grant.
The programme supports vulnerable households facing rising living costs. Beneficiaries are selected from the National Social Register and verified identity records; dialling a code does not automatically qualify someone for payment.
The following codes are listed on the official NERSI portal:
Approved platform USSD code ALAT by Wema Bank *945*23#MoMo Payment Service Bank *671*0#NairaGram *726*00#OPay *955*20#Moniepoint *5573*27#
Selected individuals receive an SMS from their provider and must give consent before payment. Users can also select the eligibility-check option through the relevant code.
Payments proceed in batches. A “not selected” response means the person is not currently included; nobody can charge a fee to secure inclusion.
The support is a grant and requires no repayment. Acceptance is free, although ordinary POS withdrawal charges may apply. Beneficiaries should never disclose their PIN, password or OTP. The programme’s helpline is 0700-022-2222.
Some circulating reports contain different codes or describe the payment as monthly. Those details should not override the ministry’s published instructions. This report uses the codes currently displayed on its portal and makes no claim of guaranteed monthly payments.
