Soldier beating LASTMA Officer in Lagos

Unidentified soldiers on Monday beat up a member of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, in the Ojota area of the state, knocking him out in what looks to be a retaliation.

VerseNews reports that in a viral video which was shared on X, (formerly Twitter), eight men, wearing improvised masks on their faces, are seen grabbing the LASTMA officer and beating him for several minutes.

The officer is observed being beaten to the ground by one of the enraged soldiers as other LASTMA officers flee the area.

In a viral video last week, an army officer was seen fighting with a LASTMA officer, it is unclear what led to their altercation, but the viral video showed the LASTMA officer striking the soldier with his club before they both got into a physical altercation.
