Popular Nigerian comedian, Lawrence Oluwaseyitan Aletile, also known as Seyi Law, has mocked the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, amidst anticipation of the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).
Seyi, in a post on the microblogging platform, Twitter, made a mockery using a popular slang, supporters of the LP candidate use to stay hopeful in Obi’s quest to reclaim ‘his stolen mandate.’
VerseNews reported that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and flagbearer of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi are currently challenging President Bola Tinubu’s victory.
The presidential candidates are also challenging the declaration of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the 2023 presidential election.
The legal teams of all the parties involved in the election tribunal earlier this month gave their final oral argument on their case after which, the PEPC led by Justice Haruna Tsammani, adjourned for judgement.
Mocking the LP candidate as he awaits judgement, Seyi Law wrote: “Peter Obi is coming. He is coming to Lagos soon.”
Reacting to the backlashes that followed his tweet, he wrote: “Of course, he is coming to Lagos. You did read the full tweet.. Eeyahha
