Security sources have confirmed the rescue of all 24 schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, in Kebbi State. An official announcement is expected later on Tuesday, as authorities continue to consolidate the operation.

The abduction occurred on November 17, when bandits attacked the school, killing a staff member and injuring a security guard. Two of the girls initially escaped on their own while being led into the bushes, according to BBC reports quoting Hussaini Aliyu, an official from Danko Wasagu Local Government Area.

Coordinated Security Response
