Governor Sanwo-Olu announces the full reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge after repairs, praising collaborative efforts with President Tinubu and Minister of Works David Umahi.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has officially declared the complete reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge after extensive repair works.

Speaking from his official platform (X platform), VerseNews reports that Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and Minister of Works, David Umahi, for their dedicated attention to detail and swift action in overseeing the project’s progress.

Sanwo-Olu also commended the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation for their effective traffic management strategies throughout the repair period, which minimized disruptions and maintained traffic flow.

The governor highlighted the significance of collective efforts in overcoming challenges, emphasizing the importance of road safety as commuters resume smoother journeys along the renovated bridge.

“Dear Lagosians, I am pleased to announce the full reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge after extended repair works have been completed to ensure its safety and efficiency for all residents. “I extend my deepest gratitude to HE President@officialABAT and the Honourable Minister of Works, David Umahi for their expedited focus and attention to detail on the Third Mainland Bridge project.
